Today, on Thursday of the Bright Week, the new bells of the additional belfry set up on the monastery’s bell tower at the end of Great Lent were heard during the paschal procession.

From now on, the alternate ringing of three monastery belfries will be heard during the processions with the cross: two of them are located at the monastery’s bell tower and one at the Kazan Cathedral’s bell tower.

A new belfry is located at the middle level of the bell tower and consists of twelve bells. During the Paschal week, a team of newly assigned bell-ringing sisters polished off their skills at the new belfry.
