On January 22, His Eminence Metropolitan Georgiy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas held several meetings on various issues of importance regarding the reconstruction and beautification of the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery and Holy Dormition Sarov Pustyn monastery.The meeting was held in the archpastoral residence at the Cathedral Church to Holy Righteous Prince Alexander Nevsky.

Participating at the meetings were Very Rev. Fr. Sergiy (Matveyev), Secretary of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocesan Administration, Rev. Fr. Alexander Gimoyan, first deputy administrator of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese, Hegumenia Sergiya (Konkova), the abbess of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery, Hegumen Nikon (Ivashkov), abbot of the Sarov Pustyn monastery, Igor Filippov, Director of the non-profit agency “General Partner on Development of Sarov-Diveyevo Tourism Cluster,” as well as the representatives of construction and design contractors.
