The Icon of the Mother of God “Surety of Sinners” is commemorated on March 20, and it is the patronal feast of the Diveyevo monastery’s cemetery church.

Since it fell on one of the first days of this year’s Lent, festive service of the icon of the Mother of God “Surety of Sinners” wasn’t celebrated, so it was moved to Saturday. The monastery’s cemetery church celebrated its patronal feast today with Hegumenia Sergia, the abbess of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery participating in the service.
