On May 23, the monastery’s Orthodox school marked the end of school year with the “Last Bell” ring celebration. The final exams still loom ahead for school graduates, but classes are over and it is time to bid farewell to classmates and teachers with flowers, colorful balloons and festive songs.

Presbyter Sergiy (Yeriskin), the school’s spiritual adviser, Nun Natalia (Lyalyushko), the school’s principal, and the teachers addressed the festive school assembly.

The graduates offered the theatrical and musical performances that conveyed the message of gratitude to their guardians, teachers and parents.

The “Last Bell” celebration was a special and emotional day for the graduates, including the eleventh graders and some of the ninth graders who chose to pursue studies at trade schools and colleges. As their eyes are set to future, it is really good to spend the day looking back at the past and share memories about time spent at school.
