The Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery had three occasions to celebrate today: the Holy Glorious All-Praised Leaders of the Apostles, Peter and Paul were honored at the Saturday’s Vigil whereas during the First Hour Hegumenia Sergiya handed out headscarves to six new novices.

Besides the black scarves tied to cover their foreheads, the novice nuns were clothed in inner cassocks for the first time while Hegumenia Sergiya put belts on them and handed out prayer beads.

The newly clothed novices have since become members of the monastic family.
