The Moscow Metro introduced a new train on its Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line decorated with decals showcasing the sights and history of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The train was named, “Nizhny Novgorod: 100% Real Russia.”

The first car of this train is dedicated to Nizhny Novgorod. Such attractions like the Nizhny Novgorod Fairgrounds, Kremiln, Maxim Gorky and sunsets over the confluence of the Oka and Volga Rivers are depicted on it, that is, showcasing everything the capital of Povolzhye is famous for.

As we walk from one car to another, we make an imaginary journey along the route that starts from Nizhny Novgorod to Boldino, Gorodets, Semenov, Diveyevo, Arzamas, and Vyksa.

The design of the car dedicated to Diveyevo was inspired by the mosaics of the Annunciation Cathedral.
