On May 24, for the first time at the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery since the Bright Week, a festive Paschal procession with the cross walked around the Holy Kanavka singing “Christ Is Risen,” the Paschal troparion.

Traditionally, the monastery holds such processions every Sunday before the feast of the Leavetaking of Pascha. Due to sickness among the sisters and clergy, the processions were temporarily canceled.

Today, the tradition was resumed and, accompanied by bell ringing, the sisters, headed by Hegumenia Sergiya and Hegumenia Ekaterina, proceeded around the Holy Kanavka.
