On July 1, the feast of the Bogolubskya Icon of the Most Holy Mother of God, Hegumenia Olimpiada, the abbess of the Protection of the Mother of God monastery in Khotkovo celebrated her 70^th anniversary. Archbishop Theognost of Kashira, Chairman of the Synodal Department for monasteries and monasticism, presided at the Divine Liturgy held in the monastery. 

A great number of guests came to extend their anniversary congratulations to matushka hegumenia. Attending were Hegumenia Sergiya, abbess of Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery, Hegumenia Victorina, abbess of the Nativity of the Mother of God monastery, Hegumenia Fevronia, abbess of the Holy Entrance to the Temple Island monastery, Hegumenia Maria, abbess of the Borisoglebsky Anosin monastery, and Hegumenia Elizabeth, abbess of the Martha and Mary monastery.

At the end of the service, Archbishop Theognost read an address from Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia to Matushka Olimpiada on the occasion of her anniversary. Later on, Hegumenia Sergiya congratulated Hegumenia Olimpiada with the anniversary and presented with an icon of the Synaxis of the Diveyevo saints.

The abbess of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery has known Hegumenia Olimpiada since the 1980s when both of them lived in asceticism at the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius monastery in Riga.
