On February 9-10, wives and mothers of the participants of the Special Military Operation who died at the front visited the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery. A group of 25 headed by Rev.Fr. Andrey Yakushev travelled from Kostroma. The group participants visited the spring of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov, prayed during the evening service, venerated the relics of the holy elder and the shrines of the monastery, and walked around the Holy Kanavka. In the morning, the pilgrims prayed at the Divine Liturgy in the Annunciation Cathedral and those who could have come to receive the Holy Communion. After lunch, the guests went on a tour of the monastery.

The pilgrimage to Diveyevo was funded by Sergey Sitnikov, the Governor of the Kostroma Region, the “Defenders of the Fatherland” Fund and the Kostroma Metropolitanate. In the Fourth Lot of the Most Holy Mother of God, the widows and mothers of the fallen officers of the 331st Guards Airborne Regiment received consolation and partook of the spirit of Paschal joy that Father Seraphim has shared with everyone who visited him.
