A movie “Under Seraphim’s wing” about Hieromartyr Seraphim (Chichagov) was awarded a diploma of the 5^th “St. Vladimir” Film Festival for spiritually educating movies and TV programs for “keeping to the Orthodox tradition in animated film-making.”

The movie that lasts only about six minutes was created by Xenia Simonova, a master of sand animation. She said: “It took us a year to create this story in collaboration with nun Makaria (Ogudina) from Diveyevo. How many amazing talents His Grace Seraphim possessed: an illustrious military career man, composer, physician, icon-painter, Diveyevo chronicler, artist, priest, monk, bishop, metropolitan, and a martyr of the modern era. He, an ailing elder, was executed at the Butovo shooting range on December 11, 1937.
