On the day of Holy Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian, Bishop Elijah of Balakhna, the Vicar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese, and Bishop John of Urzhum and Omutninsk concelebrated at the Divine Liturgy held at the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery’s Trinity Cathedral.

Hegumens, hegumenias, and the monastics from the monasteries of the Privolzhsky Federal District attending the “Worship and prayer as major focal points of monastic fellowship” conference in Diveyevo prayed at the liturgy.

Before liturgy, the hierarchs, the participants of the conference, jointly served a prayer service and the Akathist to Venerable Seraphim of Sarov beside his holy relics. Metropolitan Georgiy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas presided at this service.
