The “Largo” art group will perform tonight at the Center of Slavic Culture in the village of Diveyevo.

During the day, its members Vladimir Sokolov, Alexander Porozhny, and Vladislav Sudakov visited the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery where they venerated the holy relics of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov and walked around the Holy Kanavka. Rev.Fr. Alexiy Kurnosov, an attached priest of the monastery, told them about the history and the holy relics of the Diveyevo monastery.

Just as the group’s name suggests, the singers from Krasnodar’s singing style is “larghetto” meaning singing broadly, steadily, and “con maesta.” Their singing style allows them to bring together a repertoire comprised of spiritual singing and classical works, as well as the military and patriotic songs. Anytime the “Largo” art group performs, the pieces from the past and present come alive with the voice of eternity.
