The singing by the “Octoechos” Archpastoral Children’s Choir has adorned today’s service at the Dormition Church of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery. A group of 23 children from Yekaterinburg, including 19 children, arrived to the Diveyevo monastery on July 19. The children’s choir is performing weekly at the Divine Liturgy in the Church on Blood and the St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Church Blood in Yekaterinburg.

The Holy Royal Passion-Bearers are the heavenly patrons of the children’s choir. During the annual Royal Days, they present the concert called “The Musical Offering to the Royal Passion-Bearers.” The choir performs the songs dedicated to the Royal Family, Orthodox faith, and Motherland.

Rev. Fr. Dushan Mikhailovich is the spiritual adviser to the choir, with Irina Kubis, a choir director, and Vlada Bondareva its choirmaster.

The children visited Diveyevo for the first time. They prayed at the Holy Kanavka, venerated the relics of the Diveyevo saints, and took a dip at the Spring of Venerable Seraphim.
