TV channel “Spas” began a new season of its “Pilgrim” project in the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery. A film crew headed by the TV host Olesia Yermakova worked there today. In the company of the tour guide Natalia Golchenko, the journalists toured the places associated with the stay of Tsar Nicholas II in Diveyevo.

In 1903, members of the Royal family took part in the Sarov festivities of glorification of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov, and visited Diveyevo on their way back. They prayed during the Divine Liturgy in the Church to the Equal-to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene, visited Blessed Paraskevi Ivanovna, learned about several monastic obediences and venerated the relics of Diveyevo.

The story about these events will provide the basis of the first series of the “Pilgrim” project, since its new season is dedicated to the Royal Passion-Bearers.
