One of twelve side chapels of the Annunciation Cathedral was dedicated to the Synaxis of the Most Holy Mother of God, the relatives of the Lord and Savior according to the flesh.

Everything in the new Cathedral of the Annunciation at the Holy Kanavka is imbued with love and gratitude to the Queen of Heaven, the Supreme Hegumenia of the Diveyevo monastery, Her fourth lot on earth, so it seemed fitting that this chapel consecrated in June of 2021 was dedicated to the Synaxis of the Most Holy Mother of God.

It was the first feast day celebrated at the side chapel today. Rev. Fr. Oleg Ziryanov of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery served an all-night Vigil, the paraklesis with a water blessing prayer service and an early-morning Divine Liturgy there.

Because of the Mother of God, the entire human race was renewed, She is the Queen of all angels and the saints, the Mother of all nations and every suffering soul that calls upon Her to help. The magnitude of the Most Holy Mother of God is so great that it surpasses all heavenly and earthly powers.
