The decoration process of the walls and vaults using the mosaic compositions continues at Diveyevo’s Annunciation Cathedral. Presently, a smaller drum of the cathedral was almost fully covered with the mosaics.

The mosaic specialists are in the process of mounting the image of the Holy Spirit in the shape of a dove inside the dome while a row of ornamental designs running through the cathedral’s space has been already installed.

It is planned the cathedral’s mosaics will be completed over the course of 2021. The process of piecing the mosaics together is performed all over the cathedral’s interior space allowing the masters to save time. The mosaic décor of the Annunciation Cathedral was influenced and inspired by the classical Byzantine examples of the 14^th century, as well as the church art of Rus at the second half of the 14^th – first half of the 15^th centuries, or Andrey Rublev’s time.
