A new book published in the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery
The Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery’s publishing house presents a new book from the series “The Seraphim’s Acolytes” called “Annushka. The Way of the Cross of the Blessed Anna Vasilyevna Bobkova of Diveyevo.”
Anna Bobkova took up to carry the deed of a fool for Christ’s sake during the Soviet rule and resided in close proximity to the desecrated Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery, in the village of Diveyevo and its surroundings.
This book edition contains the memories of people who personally knew Anna Vasilyevna, the successor of the blessed holy women of Diveyevo. The author of the book, Valentina A. Sidorova, is not limited to simply writing down the testimonials, but also offers the reader a chance to learn about the general facts of life at the time and the state of morals then.
The book provides a general historical outlook of that period and tells about the people of that time using poetic folk language that helps to form a seamless vision of the blessed elder.
You can purchase the book at the monastery bookstores or online at diveevo-lavka.ru.
