Venerable Seraphim of Sarov’s prophecy regarding the transfer of lands and properties west of the monastery and through to the River Vichkinza is being fulfilled. 

Colonel Evgeniy I. Ovseyko, the local police deputy chief, met with Hegumenia Sergiya, the abbess of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery, on the feast of the Entrance of the Mother of God into the Temple. They signed the document of the ownership transfer for the building that formerly housed a local police department unit. 

The building will be vacated before the end of the year. 

The construction of a new local police office building on Yuzhnya Street in Diveyevo was included in the federal development and investment plan for 2018-2020. 

After repairs and remodeling, the former police office building and another adjacent property will be turned into the pilgrim hotels.
