On the day of Leavetaking of Pascha, the early-morning Divine Liturgy was held in the side chapel of the Renewal of the Jerusalem’s Resurrection Church in the Annunciation Cathedral of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery.

The Paschal festive season comes to an end, but Christ, our Passover, is always with us: “And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20).

 Our faith, hope and love for the Creator and Redeemer rest on the event of the most glorious Resurrection of Christ. Therefore, the Holy Church will continue to glorify the Risen Lord every Sunday of the Church year, singing the solemn hymn: “Having beheld the Resurrection of Christ.”
