“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters” (Isaiah 55:1-13). The Holy Church calls the children of God to “come to the waters” and partake of the “springs of salvation.”

There is the tradition to bless water of the Spring of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov near Tsyganovka on the day of the Baptism of the Lord.

Today, the clergy of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery, together with sisters and headed by Hegymenia Sergiya, prayed at the spring about the blessing of its water. Rev. Fr. Vladimir Kargin, the senior monastery priest, presided at the Office of the Blessing of Waters.
