After the Divine Liturgy and prayer service to Venerable Seraphim of Sarov on July 29, a prayer service before the beginning of any good work was served at the Trinity Cathedral.

The prayer service asking for a particular Lord’s blessing is served annually prior to a major feast of the Diveyevo monastery, the celebration commemorating the second uncovering of the relics of Father Seraphim on July 31 and August 1.

Presbyter Vladimir Kargin, the monastery’s senior priest, was serving. Hegumenia Sergiya and sisters took part at the service.
