On June 16, in the archpastoral residence beside the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral Church in Nizhny Novgorod, Metropolitan Georgiy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas held a meeting dedicated to the organization of the events during the celebration of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov’s commemoration day to be celebrated on August 1. The meeting’s participants discussed the festivities’ program.

Hegumenia Sergiya, the abbess of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery, and Rev. Fr. Vladimir Kargin, the monastery’s senior priest, took part in the meeting.
