On Sunday, a hierarchical Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Diveyevo monastery’s Trinity Cathedral with Metropolitan John of Kherson and Tavrida presiding.

During his archpastoral address at the end of the service, His Eminence spoke about faith known to “guide people’s lives and direct mankind from earth to heaven.” “We read in today’s Gospels about the healing of the centurion’s servant, ‘ said His Eminence in his sermon. “The Lord praised the centurion’s faith. His reliance on God is exemplary to all of us. There are other examples of extraordinary faith in the Lord in the Holy Gospels, including stories about two blind men and a woman with the issue of blood who were healed by Jesus Christ because of their faith. Let us pray that the Lord increases our faith and it leads us to the life eternal.”

The hierarch’s sermon was followed by the message of gratitude from Hegumenia Sergiya with sisters about the rebirth of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery and all the prayers raised there.
