On May 9, the monastery’s Education Center held the Victory Day concert offered by the students of the monastery’s Orthodox secondary school.

In his opening remarks, the school’s spiritual advisor, Presbyter Sergiy (Yeriskin), said that we should protect the memory and the names of the heroes of the past war.

School choir headed by the Nun Palladia (Boldina) and the soloists performed the wartime songs while other children recited poetry about war.

War veterans, present at the concert, were greeted by the school’s teachers and students while the school choir sang the famous song “The Victory Day.”
