Performance by Sunday church school choir from the Melyaevsky skete
On January 12, the Sunday church school choir from the Melyaevsky skete sang before the elderly nuns residing at the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery’s almshouse. The skete’s monastics are dedicated to the children’s choir singing. The choir participates during liturgy on Sundays and holds concerts on church feast days. Nun (Ovsyannikova) is in charge of the choir.
At the concert presented in the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery, the children sang the Christmas-themed songs and “Kolyadki” (carols). After the performance, the children and their parents venerated the holy relics of the monastery and admired the Nativity decorations installed around the monastery.
