Anna Trushkova’s concert

On August 7, pianist Anna Trushkova held a concert at the Educational Center of the Seraphim-Diveyevo monastery. 

Anna’s program featured pieces of prominent Russian and European composers interspersed with the stories about their faith in God and thoughts about Christianity. The conversation focused on Musorgsky, Tchaikovsky, Rakhmaninov, Mozart, and Chopin. 

Anna is originally from Nizhny Novgorod, where in the age of six she began studies at the local music school after M.A. Balakirev. Later on, she entered the Academic College of Music of the Moscow’s State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. She graduated with excellence and completed her education finishing the postgraduate study course at the Conservatory. Currently, Anna works at the Moscow’s State Tchaikovsky Conservatory as an Accompanist at the Division for Choral Conducting.
