“My Joy” choir directed by Nun Palladia (Boldina) presented the Troparion to the Nativity of Christ (by S.A. Degtyarev), Christmas carols or “kolyadki” “For the Feast of Nativity” and “Look up in Heaven” edited for children’s choirs by Nun Palladia (Boldina), the chant to the Righteous Great Prince Alexander Nevsky, and the kontakion to the Nativity of Christ in Byzantine chant. 

The “Song of Nativity,” the annual spiritual music and choral competition, was established in 2000 by the City of Moscow’s Department of Education and Science to advance the spiritual and moral development of children and youth and their introduction to the wealth of Russia’s spiritual music tradition.
