On the day of the commemoration of the Synaxis of Saints of Diveyevo, Metropolitan Georgiy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas blessed the spiritual and educational center of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov. The center is located on Kazanskaya Street next to the northern pilgrim house.

Sergey Aleksandrovich Kuchin, head of the local government in Diveyevo, attended the rite of blessing.

“It is a blessed day – the day of commemoration of the Synaxis of Saints of Diveyevo, plus we bless the spiritual and educational center named after Venerable Seraphim of Sarov. The events and meetings will be held here, plus it will accommodate pilgrims. I sincerely thank the Board of Trustees who work at the beautification of the Diveyevo monastery and make the territory of the monastery more convenient for pilgrims. I hope this center will be of great benefit to our guests, so that no one would leave it “hollow and inconsolable”, – said Metropolitan Georgiy before the blessing ceremony.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the ruling hierarch walked around the building visiting the pilgrim rooms and the meeting areas.
